Circus Encounter
A curious clownfish meets a lionfish. A rare specie of lionfish can be found in the rich marine environment of the Philippines - a biodiversity hotspot that needs protection to ensure extraordinatory encounters like this can continue for generations to come.

Friendly Divers
One of the great experiences I had was being able to swim with whalesharks in Oslob, Cebu. Unfortunately, the spike in tourism has made it an experience that you have to line up hours for. But for sure, the few moments in the water with these gentle creatures is worth it.

Lake Venado
The painting shows a lake located on the way to the top of the highest peak in the Philippines - Mt.Apo. My hometown, Kidapawan City, is a gateway that leads to the most direct route to its summit.

Mt. Mayon, which is NOT a mountain, is one of the most famous volcanoes in the Philippines known for its almost perfect cone shape. It's home-region is also know for their delicious and very spicy Bicolano Express.

The Rescue
In Philippine folklore, mermaids ("Sirena") are typically depicted as guardians of the water who protect coastal communities. In contrast to the painting though, mermaids are believed to enchant or drown men rather than save them.
